  • Public & Large-Scale Events: By attending public DJC events, services, or gatherings, you acknowledge that your likeness may be captured in group photographs or crowd video footage used for community storytelling.

  • Children's Programs & Close-Ups: We respect the privacy of our families. For youth education programs (such as the Children's Jewish Studies or Bet Mitzvah programs) or prominent close-up portraits of individuals, we obtain explicit consent from parents, guardians, or the individuals themselves before publication.

  • Livestreaming Notice: Certain religious services or community webinars may be livestreamed or recorded for members who cannot attend in person. Signs or verbal announcements will notify attendees when recording is active.

  • Opt-Out Rights: If you or a family member prefers not to be photographed or filmed, or if you wish to request the removal of an existing image from our digital platforms, please notify our photographers at the event or contact news@djctoronto.com. We will make every effort to accommodate your request.
