We are pleased to introduce our newly enhanced Grade 9 Leadership and Mentorship Program. Designed specifically for teens, this initiative provides robust training to help students develop essential skills as classroom assistants.

 

Program Highlights

• Hands-On Experience: Serve as a weekly classroom assistant in the Children’s Jewish Studies program.

• Professional Development: Receive dedicated leadership and assistant training every two weeks.

• Community & Connection: Build lasting friendships through teen events organized on a monthly basis

• Meaningful Contribution: Earn valuable volunteer hours while remaining actively involved in the community. 

 

Participating in this program is a wonderful way for our teens to stay deeply connected to the DJC and to each other. 

 

2026-2027 Registration Details

• Program Fee: We offer a sliding scale of $700 - $900 to cover the cost of training and program materials.

• Grade 9 families must be DJC Members

• As always, financial accessibility is a core priority for us; subsidies are available and no one will ever be turned away for a lack of funds.
