Have a Wonderful Summer!

Summer is in full bloom, and so is the DJC.  Our Annual General Meeting on June 7 affirmed that our community is healthy and growing.  That afternoon, nearly fifty people came together for a conversation that is only one of the first steps in a larger process to engage big questions about the nature and future of our community; it left many participants eager for more opportunities to share their thoughts and ideas.  We’re excited to continue the process in the fall.  More recently, about 60 people attended our annual Pride Shabbat and Potluck, many of whom had never attended the DJC before and are excited to come back.

As we head into the season of sun and fun, all of us on the Board wish you a lovely summer full of opportunities to soak up the warmth of friends, family, and community.
