Join the Chesed Caring Committee!

The Chesed Caring Committee is a small group of dedicated volunteers, committed to supporting DJC families dealing with an illness or loss of a loved one. Working closely with Rabbi Miriam, we reach out to those in need to let them know we care and want to help. Just in the past two and a half years alone, we have coordinated the making and delivery of over 25 meals to be given to families dealing with an illness, over 20 shiva fruit platters, and have sent over 35 condolence or get well cards. Because our core committee is small, we rely on the assistance and kindness of a growin group of available helping hands. These are members we can call upon to prepare and deliver a meal to a family in crisis when a need arises. We are currently in need to expand our list of helpers. If you are able, at some time, to prepare and deliver a one-time meal to a DJC family in crisis, please contact Simmy Zaret, at djcchesedcaring@gmail.com

As well, if you know of a family that may need support, please notify Rabbi Miriam. That way the Chesed Caring Committee can be set into motion with loving, compassionate, and caring hands.
