Once again this year, the DJC has been asked to join our partners in the Danforth Multifaith Commons in supporting the weekly Out of the Cold program, which provides people in need with shelter, food and warm clothing on Friday nights and Saturday mornings, November through March. The DJC is currently looking for volunteers:

1) Bakers to make a dessert for one Friday night per month. Sign up as a family, a group of friends or individually and we’ll pull together a team every month. Drop off your dessert before 3 pm Friday on the following dates: November 14, December 12, January 9, February 13, March 13

2) Early Risers to prepare and serve breakfast one Saturday morning each month from 6:15 am – 9 am on the following dates: November 29, December 27, January 24, February 28, March 28

If you are interested in meeting others and want the opportunity to help those in need, please register here or contact info@djctoronto.com.
