A HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in The Ve’ahavta Project at the DJC! More than 50 participants of all ages made 12 blankets and over 350 cookies for Ve’ahavta to distribute from their outreach van to those sleeping on the streets. DJC was the second largest site after Ve’ahavta itself! Almost $1700 has been donated to Ve’ahavta so far in the DJC’s name. Kol hakavod!

Special Notice re: Out of the Cold

Once again this year, the DJC has been asked to join our partners in the Danforth Multifaith Commons in supporting the weekly Out of the Cold program, which provides people in need with shelter, food
