BETHANY FOOD BANK ~ CONTRIBUTIONS OVER THE YEAR

  • Sep 21, 2017
  • 1 min read

The DJC is continuing its relationship with the Bethany Church Food Bank and bringing non-perishable items to the following services and events would be greatly appreciated by the 70 families who depend on the food bank every week. Check out our EVENT CALENDAR LISTINGS for dates (services & holidays) throughout the year to bring food bank contributions.

NON-PERISHABLES NEEDED:Canned fruits and vegetables, canned protein [meat, fish, beans, etc], infant formula, pasta, sauce, diapers for children and senior adults, cat and dog food, and supermarket gift cards for the purchase of milk and fresh produce are always needed.  Toiletry items and any other staples are welcomed as well.

The church has a separate bank account for the Food Bank to cover the costs of skid deliveries and ingredients for the hot lunches they serve every week.  All labour is done by volunteers, so any cheques written to Bethany with FOOD BANK on the memo line will ensure 100% of the money donated goes into this account.

Thank you!
