KAVOD / HONOUR

Kavod means ‘honour’ in Hebrew.  Through this column we express our respect and gratitude for donors, and acknowledge the people and milestones they have honoured with a donation.  The Hebrew phrase Kol ha Kavod is translated as “congratulations, well done”.  This is our message as the DJC expresses thanks for donations over the past month from:

  • Vlad Bregman in memory of his sister Irene whose tragic accidental death at age 26 inspired Vlad with a legacy of “enough ambition and zeal for life to last for two lifetimes.”

  • The DJC honouring members and friends who supported the SOLD OUT performance of The Boy in the Moon fundraiser.

  • Lorne Vineberg, commemorating the yahrzeits of his parents Ruth and Mortimer Vineberg.

  • Marlee Novak, honouring her beloved mother Dorothy.

To make your Kavod donation for any amount, please go toDONATE NOW!or call DJC Board Member Marlee Novak at 416-575-1483.
