Kavod means ‘honour’ in Hebrew. Through this column we express our respect and gratitude for donors, and acknowledge the people and milestones they have honoured with a donation. The Hebrew phrase Kol ha Kavod is translated as “congratulations, well done”. This is our message as the DJC expresses thanks for donations over the past month from:
Vlad Bregman in memory of his sister Irene whose tragic accidental death at age 26 inspired Vlad with a legacy of “enough ambition and zeal for life to last for two lifetimes.”
The DJC honouring members and friends who supported the SOLD OUT performance of The Boy in the Moon fundraiser.
Lorne Vineberg, commemorating the yahrzeits of his parents Ruth and Mortimer Vineberg.
Marlee Novak, honouring her beloved mother Dorothy.
